Heating cables with a maximum heating temperature below 250°C comply with the IEC800 (92) standard, "Heating cables for residential facilities heating and anti-icing with rated voltage 300/500V". Heating cables exceeding 250°C comply with enterprise standards.
Electrical Performance
Resistance tolerance: ±10%
Dielectric performance—Heating cable withstand voltage: 1200VAC/1min
Insulation resistance—Finished product test: 100MΩ/500VDC
Sheath continuity—Test insulation resistance after immersing the entire heating cable (including joints) in water for 12 hours.
Precautions
During transportation, storage, installation, and use, avoid repeated rolling, bending, and twisting as much as possible, especially do not impact the heating cable. Both ends of the heating cable must not be immersed in water or exposed to rain. One end of the heating cable is connected to the power supply, and the conductive core at the other end is strictly prohibited from short-circuiting or contacting conductive materials; it should be sealed firmly.
