Heating Cable DARUI Electric recommends
Heating cable is mainly used for living heating, plant cultivation, pipe insulation, etc.
Heating cable uses single or multiple alloy heating wires as heat source, high-purity, high-temperature, electrically fused crystalline magnesium oxide as thermal conductive insulation, seamless continuous stainless steel or copper tube as sheath, manufactured by special process. For places with strong corrosion, PE or low-smoke halogen-free jacket can be added. Heating cables with maximum temperature below 250°C comply with IEC800 (92) standard, "Rated voltage 300/500V heating cables for living facilities heating and anti-icing"; those above 250°C comply with enterprise standards.
Electrical Performance
Resistance tolerance: ±10%
Dielectric performance — Heating cable withstand voltage: 1200VAC/1min
Insulation resistance — Finished product test: 100MΩ/500VDC
Sheath continuity — Test insulation resistance after immersing the entire heating cable (including joints) in water for 12 hours.
Precautions
During transportation, storage, installation and use, avoid repeated rolling, bending, twisting, especially do not impact the heating cable. Both ends of the heating cable must not be immersed in water or exposed to rain. One end of the heating cable is connected to power supply, the other end's conductive core must not be short-circuited, must not contact conductive materials, and should be sealed firmly.
