Explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into heat energy for use in explosive atmospheres. It is used for heating, maintaining temperature, or warming liquid, gas, or solid media, whether in motion or stationary. Typical applications of explosion-proof electric heaters include: 1. Heating chemical materials in the chemical industry, drying certain powders under specific pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying. 2. Heating hydrocarbons, including crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc. 3. Heating process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air), water gas, and other fluids that require temperature increase. 4. Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous gas locations. 5. IIA, IIB Class T1 to T4 groups of explosive gas or vapor environments. 6. Due to the use of advanced explosion-proof construction, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, and other places requiring explosion protection. The explosion-proof electric heater consumes electrical energy and converts it into heat energy to heat the required material. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the inlet through the pipeline under pressure, follows the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, and uses the path designed according to fluid thermodynamics to carry away the high-temperature thermal energy generated during the operation of the electric heating element, thereby raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater provides the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing the heated material from overheating, coking, deteriorating, carbonizing, or even damaging the heating element, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater. The heat of the explosion-proof electric heater is generated by the electric heating elements inside the heater. It heats the medium through forced convection. The medium enters the container through the inlet, and during heating, it uses fluid thermodynamics principles to transfer the huge amount of heat generated during the operation of the liquid electric heater. The medium, as a heat carrier, is forced to transfer the heat through a pump, achieving continuous heat transfer and meeting the process heating requirements.
