Parameters of SRY6-6 Sheathed Heater SRY6-6 Sheathed Heater
The radiating surface of a plate-type infrared radiation source is a plane, composed of flat resistance plates. The front side of the resistance plate is coated with a material of high reflectivity, while the back side is coated with a material of low reflectivity, so most of the heat energy is radiated from the front side. The operating temperature of the plate type can reach above 1000°C, and it can be used for annealing of steel materials, large-diameter pipes, and container welds.

Electric infrared heating is actually a special form of resistance heating, where materials such as tungsten, iron-nickel, or nickel-chromium alloys are used as radiators to form a radiation source. When energized, it generates thermal radiation due to its resistance heating. Commonly used electric infrared heating radiation sources include lamp type (reflective), tube type (quartz tube type), and plate type (flat type). The lamp type is an infrared bulb, using a tungsten filament as the radiator, sealed in a glass shell filled with inert gas, similar to an ordinary lighting bulb. When energized, the radiator heats up (at a lower temperature than ordinary lighting bulbs), emitting a large amount of infrared rays with a wavelength of about 1.2 microns. If the inner wall of the glass shell is coated with a reflective layer, the infrared rays can be concentrated to radiate in one direction, so the lamp-type infrared radiation source is also called a reflective infrared radiator. The tube of the tube-type infrared radiation source is made of quartz glass, with a tungsten filament in the middle, so it is also called a quartz tube infrared radiator. The infrared rays emitted by the lamp type and tube type have wavelengths in the range of 0.7 to 3 microns, with relatively low operating temperatures, and are generally used for heating, baking, drying in light and textile industries, and infrared physiotherapy in medical treatment.

1. Application:

Mainly used for heating hydraulic oil and lubricating oil in hydraulic lubrication devices, and also for heating non-corrosive gases.

2. Structure:

SRY6-6 Sheathed Heater The sheath tube has a diameter of 108mm and a wall thickness of 4mm, made of seamless steel pipe. The heating core uses three electric heating tubes as one heating element. The wiring device cover is made of stainless steel for protection, effectively ensuring the safety of the wiring device.

3. Features:

SRY6-6 Sheathed Heater After adding the sheath, the heating area is large, heat transfer is fast, and it can effectively prevent carbonization of the heated medium. Since the electric heater is connected to the tank via a flange, the heater is isolated from the heating medium, making maintenance convenient. During repair, simply pull out the heating core and replace it with a new heater.

4. Technical Parameters:

Rated Voltage:      Single-phase 220V    Three-phase 380V

Surface Heating Power: Type 4 and Type 5 ≤1.8W/cm2    Type 6 and Type 7 ≤0.7W/cm2

Heat Transfer Temperature:      ≤300°C

Working Medium:      Mineral Oil

Working Pressure:      ≤0.8MPa

Heater Mounting Hole: ≥φ114mm

Note: When selecting, consider the actual conditions of the heating medium and the installation dimensions of the equipment. The surface heating power should be selected as ≤0.7W per square centimeter as much as possible. When wiring, use appropriate high-temperature wires to connect the distribution control box to the electric heater.
