1. Three-Dimensional Electric Air Heater
The electric air heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the required air temperature, up to 850℃. It has been widely used in aerospace, ordnance industry, chemical industry, universities and many other scientific research and production laboratories. It is especially suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow high-temperature combined systems and accessory tests. The electric air heater has a wide range of applications: it can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, pollution-free, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable).

3. Technical Features
1. It can heat air to a very high temperature, up to 850℃, while the shell temperature is only about 50℃.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or above.
3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10℃/s, with quick and stable adjustment. There is no lead or lag in the controlled air temperature, preventing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
4. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any other heating element under the impact of high-pressure air flow, which is advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating for long periods.
5. Durable and long-lasting, with a service life of up to ten years when used in accordance with operating procedures.
6. Clean air and small size.
7. Multiple types of electric air heaters can be designed according to user needs.
4. Specifications and Models
Single unit power ranges from 2KW to 10000KW series.
Collapse Edit SectionHow to Save Energy
In recent years, with the need for desulfurization projects in large power plant units, the power of electric air heaters has increased, some up to 400KW or more. High energy consumption and high operating costs require consideration from the following aspects to minimize energy use.
(1) Reasonably design air volume and temperature rise. The power of the electric air heater is calculated based on air volume and temperature rise. Under the premise that air volume and temperature rise meet the requirements, excessive air volume and temperature rise should not be used, as they directly lead to higher heater power and increased energy consumption. Excessive air volume and temperature rise are unnecessary. Comprehensive consideration and reasonable design are needed to determine appropriate parameters.
(2) The surface of the electric air heater should be insulated. Most power plants (owners) only insulate the outlet pipe of the electric heater, but do not insulate the heater surface itself. Comparative data shows that adding insulation to the heater surface can reduce energy consumption by 5% to 10%. Over long-term operation, the energy savings are significant. Power plants (owners) should add insulation to the electric air heater while insulating the pipes.
(3) Reduce the pressure loss of the electric air heater itself. The air to be heated generates pressure loss when flowing through the electric air heater. The greater the pressure loss, the higher the energy consumption of the fan. Improvements and innovations should be made to the structure of the electric air heater to minimize pressure loss.
