SRY2-3 Immersion Tubular Electric Heater is suitable for heating oil in enclosed oil tanks.
Features:
The SRY2-3 (HRYl4) tubular electric heater is based on the SRY2 ordinary tubular electric heater, with improved wiring device and heating structure. It uses three heating tubes as a group, effectively reducing the surface load of the heater, and can directly replace SRY2-SRY4 heaters.
This electric heater is composed of bent tubular elements welded to a flange. Since the heater is directly immersed in oil for heating, it has high thermal efficiency and long service life.
Main technical parameters, specifications, and length of SRY2-3 Immersion Tubular Electric Heater:
Rated voltage: Single-phase 220V Three-phase 380V
Working medium: Mineral oil and water and other media with good heat dissipation effect
Surface heating power: 1KW~4KW1.5w/cm2 5KW~8KW2.5w/cm2
Working pressure: 0.6Mpa
Instructions for SRY2-3 Immersion Tubular Electric Heater:
1) The working voltage must not exceed 1.1 times its rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
2) Dimension "B" in the figure must be fully immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning. The heated oil should be free of corrosive gases.
3) The mounting hole size of this electric heater is φ65mm.
4) This model heater is designed according to JB2379-78 flowing oil standard, with heater surface load of 2-3.8w/cm2.
5) When selecting, determine the heater size according to the actual size of the heating medium.
Note: This heater can be directly mixed with SRY2 and SRY4 models.
Process:
The heating tube is made by inserting electric heating wire into an outer tube (carbon steel tube, titanium tube, stainless steel tube, copper tube), filling the gaps with magnesium oxide powder that has good thermal conductivity and insulation, then shrinking the tube. After heat treatment (some tubes do not require it), it is processed into various shapes required by the user. It has simple structure, high thermal efficiency, good mechanical strength, and SRY2-3 tubular electric heater has good adaptability to harsh environments. It can be used for heating various liquids and acids, alkalis, and salts, and is also suitable for melting low melting point metals.
Scope of use for tubular heaters: Suitable for heating air, oil, water, chemical media, hot press molds, melting salts, alkalis, and low melting point alloys. It has characteristics such as high thermal efficiency, long service life, high mechanical strength, easy installation, safety, and reliability.
Classification of tubular heaters by shape: According to different shapes, heating tubes can be divided into: straight single-end heating tube, straight double-end heating tube, U-shaped heating tube, W-shaped heating tube, special-shaped heating tube, spiral heating tube.
Precautions:
1. Dimension "B" in the outline drawing must be fully immersed in oil to avoid burning the element. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.
2. The working liquid level of SRY3 type must be below the fastener and above the dimension line "B".
3. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage before use, and then increase to rated voltage after melting. This prevents heat concentration and reduces element service life.
4. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be removed before use to avoid reducing efficiency or even burning the element.
5. The element should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, dry it in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or apply low voltage to the element for several hours) to restore insulation resistance.
