This heater is an explosion-proof type, widely used in China's petrochemical, metallurgical and other industries. However, its service life is not as long as other new types of heaters. Its heating power per unit area is relatively high, making it prone to carbon deposition on the heater surface. Especially for heaters above 5KW, the normal service life is only about 3 years. Therefore, this heater is not a recommended product of our company.
The reserved hole for flange connection is: ≥Φ70.
Design pressure: 1.6Mpa
Explosion-proof grade: dⅡCT4, outer material is all stainless steel. Steel pipe wiring is M20×1.5;

BGY2 Explosion-Proof Electric Heater
It is an internationally popular high-quality, long-life electric heating equipment. It is used for heating, maintaining temperature, and warming of flowing liquid and gaseous media. When the heating medium passes through the heating chamber of the electric heater under pressure, it uniformly takes away the huge heat generated by the electric heating elements using fluid thermodynamics principles, so that the temperature of the heated medium reaches the user's process requirements.
An explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the input port through the pipeline under pressure, follows the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, which is designed using fluid thermodynamics principles, and takes away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating elements, raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing overheating of the heating material that could cause coking, deterioration, carbonization, or even damage to the heating element, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
Explosion-proof heaters are generally used in hazardous locations where explosions may occur. Since the surrounding environment contains flammable and explosive oils, gases, dust, etc., contact with electric sparks can cause explosions. Therefore, explosion-proof heaters are required for heating in such situations. The main explosion-proof measure of the explosion-proof heater is an explosion-proof device installed in the junction box, which eliminates the risk of ignition from electric sparks. The explosion-proof grade of the heater varies depending on the specific heating application.
Typical applications of explosion-proof electric heaters include:
1. Heating of chemical materials in the chemical industry, drying of some powders under certain pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying.
2. Heating of hydrocarbons, including crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc.
3. Heating of process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air) gas, water gas, and other fluids that require heating.
4. Due to the advanced explosion-proof structure, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, and other places requiring explosion-proof measures.
