Mask Machine Heater

The melt-blown process requires a large amount of hot air. The compressed air output from the air compressor is dehumidified and filtered, then transported to the air heater for heating, and then sent to the melt-blown die assembly. The air heater is a pressure vessel and must also resist oxidation from high-temperature air, so the material must be stainless steel. The heating element of the air heater is a stainless steel electric heating tube. Multiple baffles are arranged in the inner cavity of the heater to prolong the residence time of air in the heater cavity, thereby improving heat exchange efficiency. Appropriately increasing the number of heating tubes and raising the installed power of the air heater can shorten the heating time during production line startup. The melt-blown process requires high temperature control accuracy for the drawing air heater, and the drawing air temperature must be stable within a range of ±1°C.Mask Machine Finned Heating Rod Meltblown Fabric HeaterMask Machine Finned Heating Rod Meltblown Fabric Heater

Application Fields: The heater is widely used. Air heaters are a very common type of heater, commonly referred to as air heaters. In fact, depending on the gas being heated, they can be subdivided into many types, such as air heaters and hydrogen heaters. These can all be called duct-type gas heaters. *Especially due to the current epidemic prevention and control needs, the demand for masks and other medical protective items has surged. Duct-type air heaters are widely used by meltblown nonwoven fabric manufacturers for meltblown fabric heating production.* Duct heaters have been widely applied in aerospace, weaponry, chemical industry, and many scientific research and production laboratories in universities. They are particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow high-temperature combined systems and accessory tests. Air electric heaters have a wide range of applications: they can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe, and reliable, with rapid temperature rise in the heated space (controllable).
    1. Meltblown Fabric Air Heater Operating Principle
In the melt-blown system, most use electrically heated air heaters. Inside the heater shell made of stainless steel, a large number of stainless steel electric heating tubes are installed. When powered on, the tubes heat up and exchange heat with the airflow from the fan, transferring heat to the airflow, thus producing the high-temperature drawing airflow required by the process.
    2. Meltblown Fabric Air Heater Energy-Saving Principle
    (1) Reasonably design air volume and temperature rise. The power of the meltblown fabric air heater is determined based on air volume and temperature rise calculation. Under the premise that air volume and temperature rise meet the requirements, excessive air volume and temperature rise should not be used, as they directly lead to excessive power of the meltblown fabric air heater, increasing energy consumption.
    (2) The outer surface of the meltblown fabric air heater should be insulated. Most users only insulate the pipeline at the outlet of the electric heater, but do not insulate the outer surface of the electric heater itself. Comparative data shows that adding insulation to the outer surface of the electric heater can reduce energy consumption by 5% to 10%. Over long-term operation, the energy savings are very significant. Users should add insulation to the pipeline while also insulating the air electric heater.
