SRY6-1 380V/5KW Sheathed Tubular Electric Heater Structure

The heating tube is made by inserting electric heating wire into an outer tube (carbon steel tube, titanium tube, stainless steel tube, copper tube), filling the gaps with magnesium oxide powder that has excellent thermal conductivity and insulation, then shrinking the tube. After heat treatment (some tubes do not require it), it is processed into various shapes as required by the user. It has a simple structure, high thermal efficiency, good mechanical strength, and excellent adaptability to harsh environments. It can be used for heating various liquids, acids, alkalis, and salts, as well as for melting low-melting-point metals.

Application scope of tubular heaters: Suitable for heating air, oil, water, chemical media, hot pressing molds, melting salts, alkalis, and low-melting-point alloys. It features high thermal efficiency, long service life, high mechanical strength, convenient installation, and safety and reliability.

Shape classification of tubular heaters: Heating tubes can be classified by shape into: straight single-end heating tubes, straight double-end heating tubes, U-shaped heating tubes, W-shaped heating tubes, special-shaped heating tubes, and spiral heating tubes.

Features:

It consists of a heating core and a sheath. The heating core uses a metal tubular electric heating element as the heat source, and the sheath is made of cold-drawn seamless steel pipe or stainless steel pipe. The electric heater is connected to the oil tank body via a flange. The sheath isolates the heating core from the heated oil. When replacing the electric heater, there is no need to drain the oil from the tank; simply pull out the heating core and replace it with a new one, making maintenance convenient. The electric heater has a large contact area with the heated oil, low surface thermal power, no carbon deposition, and the oil will not carbonize due to local high temperatures. It has a long service life, and is safe and reliable.

Materials:

Common outer tube materials include In800, In840, 304, 316L, 310S, aluminum, copper, low-carbon steel, etc.

Magnesium oxide powder is selected in different grades according to different application requirements, including high-temperature powder, medium-temperature powder, etc.

The resistance wire is the heating element, and there are usually two types of materials: Ni-Cr wire and Fe-Cr-Al wire.

There are usually two types of lead terminal materials: stainless steel and free-cutting iron.

Sealing materials include: epoxy, silicone, glass, etc.
