Supply Electric Heater Heating Plate Heating Ring
1; Control box requirements: Since the main controller is a high-voltage, high-current device, it should be installed in a control box during use, and then connected to the heating coil, power supply, temperature controller and other devices through insulated wires. This protects the human body from touching live parts and causing electric shock. Because the controller itself generates heat, the control box should be made to allow air circulation for heat dissipation.
2. Heating coil: Use appropriate specifications of insulated high-temperature wires to wind. Generally, it is a circular coil. Use a Victor BICTOR6243+ inductance meter to measure inductance. It should be wound on the barrel for measurement. The number of turns varies depending on the barrel diameter and should be determined in actual use.
3. Winding of the heating coil: The heating coil is wound according to the user's specific requirements. During winding, ensure that the winding direction and parameters of the heating coil on the same iron core are consistent. Keep a distance of more than 50mm between each group of coils.
4. Distance requirement between the heating coil and the heated metal object: The distance from the surface of the heating coil to the surface of the heated metal object should be adjusted appropriately according to the width of the coil. The distance from the coil to the heated metal object should be adjusted appropriately according to the diameter of the pipe. The larger the pipe diameter, the closer the distance. The smaller the pipe diameter, the farther the distance. Generally: 15-22mm. If the distance is too small, the control board may heat up due to poor working characteristics, or even cause power tube explosion; if the distance is too large, the power will gradually decrease and cannot be adjusted, which is due to the circuit's reverse voltage protection.
5. Wiring method: This controller can be used with power-on startup, or controlled by the normally closed contact of the thermostat.
a. Power-on startup: Connect the 220V power supply to the controller's live and neutral terminals through insulated wires; connect the coil lead terminals to the controller's coil connection ports (must be firmly connected). The factory setting of this board is power-on startup mode.
b. Control using the normally open contact of the thermostat: Connect the 220V power supply to the controller's live and neutral terminals through insulated wires; connect the coil lead terminals to the controller's coil connection ports (must be firmly connected). Gently remove the short-circuit wire (black) from the "switch control" socket, insert one end of a two-core connecting wire into the "switch control" socket, and connect the other two plugs to the normally open contact of the thermostat. Then test the machine.
Note: The thermostat contacts are not allowed to carry mains or other high voltage. C. Multi-board connection: When one thermostat contact needs to control multiple boards to work and stop simultaneously, first determine one board as the master board (choose any one), then use a connecting wire (two-core wire with a 2-pin plug at each end) to connect the "slave board control" on the master board to the "voltage control" on another slave board. To connect more slave boards, use connecting wires to connect level by level as above, i.e., connect the "slave board control" on one slave board to the "voltage control" on another slave board, and so on.
