Circulating Electric Heater
I. Overview of Circulating Electric Heater:
The circulating electric heater is an internationally popular high-quality, long-life electric heating device. It is used for heating, maintaining temperature, and warming flowing liquid or gaseous media. When the heating medium passes through the heating chamber of the electric heater under pressure, it uniformly removes the enormous heat generated by the electric heating elements during operation using fluid thermodynamics principles, raising the temperature of the heated medium to meet the user's process requirements.
Working Principle
The circulating electric heater converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the input port through a pipeline under pressure, flows along a specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, designed based on fluid thermodynamics principles, and carries away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating elements during operation, thereby raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater provides the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing overheating of the heated material that could cause coking, deterioration, or carbonization, or even damage the heating element in severe cases, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
II. Application Scope of Circulating Electric Heater:
Typical applications of circulating electric heaters mainly include:
1. Heating and raising temperature of chemical materials in the chemical industry, drying of certain powders under specific pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying.
2. Heating of hydrocarbons, including crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, paraffin wax, etc.
3. Heating of process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air) gas, water gas, and other fluids requiring temperature increase.
4. Due to the adoption of advanced explosion-proof structures, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, and other places requiring explosion protection.
