Structure and Application
The heating ring is wrapped with a thin metal plate (aluminum plate, stainless steel plate, etc.). Typical applications include electric kettles. The metal tubular heating element is cast into an aluminum plate or aluminum disk, or welded or embedded onto an aluminum plate or aluminum disk to form various shapes of electric heating plates and electric heaters. Typical applications include rice cookers, electric irons, electric coffee pots, etc.
Introduction to Heating Ring
Converting electrical energy into thermal energy to heat objects is a form of energy utilization. Compared with conventional fuel heating, electric heating can achieve higher temperatures (e.g., arc heating can reach temperatures above 3000°C), and it is easy to realize automatic temperature control and remote control, such as in vehicle-mounted electric heating cups.
It can maintain a certain temperature distribution of the heated object as needed. Electric heating can generate heat directly inside the heated object, resulting in high thermal efficiency and fast heating speed. According to the heating process requirements, it can achieve uniform heating or local heating (including surface heating) of the whole object, and it is easy to realize vacuum heating and controlled atmosphere heating. During the electric heating process, there is less waste gas, residue, and smoke, keeping the heated object clean and not polluting the environment. Therefore, electric heating is widely used in production, scientific research, and experiments. Especially in the manufacturing of single crystals and transistors, surface hardening of mechanical parts, smelting of ferroalloys, and manufacturing of artificial graphite, electric heating methods are adopted.
