SRQ Air Heater
A primary coil with a larger number of turns and a secondary coil with a smaller number of turns are mounted on the same iron core. The input-to-output voltage ratio equals the turns ratio, while energy remains constant. Therefore, the secondary coil generates a large current under low voltage conditions. For induction heaters, the bearing acts as a short-circuited single-turn secondary coil, carrying a large current at a low AC voltage, thus generating significant heat. The heater itself and the magnetic yoke remain at normal temperature. Since this heating method induces current, the bearing becomes magnetized. It is important to ensure subsequent demagnetization of the bearing to prevent it from attracting metal chips during operation. FAG induction heaters have an automatic demagnetization function.
It utilizes the eddy current generated by metal in an alternating magnetic field to heat itself, commonly used in metal heat treatment and other applications. The principle is that when a thicker metal is placed in an alternating magnetic field, current is induced due to electromagnetic induction. The current in thicker metal forms a spiral flow path inside, and the heat generated by the current is absorbed by the metal itself, causing rapid temperature rise.
High-temperature resistance wires are evenly distributed inside a high-temperature resistant stainless steel seamless tube, and the gaps are densely filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder, which has good thermal conductivity and insulation. This structure is not only advanced and highly efficient but also provides uniform heating. When current passes through the high-temperature resistance wires, the generated heat diffuses through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder to the surface of the metal tube, then transfers to the heated object or air, achieving the heating purpose.
The electric air heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 850°C.
Technical Features
1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, with the shell temperature only around 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more.
3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with quick and stable adjustment. There is no leading or lagging phenomenon of the controlled air temperature, which prevents temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
4. Good mechanical performance: Since the heating element is made of special alloy material, it has better mechanical performance and strength under high-pressure air flow than any other heating element, which is especially advantageous for systems and accessory tests requiring continuous air heating for long periods.
5. Durable and long-lasting, with a service life of several decades when used according to operating procedures.
6. Clean air and small size.
Application Fields
Heater application range: Air heaters are widely used. Commonly called air heaters, they can be further classified into many types based on the heating gas, such as nitrogen heaters and hydrogen heaters. These can also be referred to as duct-type gas heaters. They are widely used in aerospace, ordnance industry, chemical industry, and many scientific research and production laboratories in universities. Particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow high-temperature combined systems and accessory tests. Electric air heaters have a wide range of applications: they can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-combustible, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe, and reliable, with rapid temperature rise in the heated space (controllable).
