GYY4GYY Type Tubular Electric Heater
This product is suitable for heating air, oil, water, chemical media, hot pressing molds, melting salts, alkalis, and low-melting-point alloys. It features high thermal efficiency, long service life, high mechanical strength, easy installation, safety, and reliability.
Product Structure:
It is made by inserting electric heating wires into an outer tube (carbon steel tube, titanium tube, stainless steel tube, copper tube), filling the gaps with magnesium oxide powder that has good thermal conductivity and insulation, then shrinking the tube. After heat treatment (not required for some tubes), it is processed into various shapes as needed by the user. It has a simple structure, high thermal efficiency, good mechanical strength, and good adaptability to harsh environments. It can be used for heating various liquids and acids, alkalis, salts, and also for melting low-melting-point metals.
Heater application range: Suitable for heating air, oil, water, chemical media, hot pressing molds, melting salts, alkalis, and low-melting-point alloys. It features high thermal efficiency, long service life, high mechanical strength, easy installation, safety, and reliability.

Product Materials:
Common outer tube materials include In800, In840, 304, 316L, 310S, aluminum, copper, low-carbon steel, etc.
Magnesium oxide powder is selected according to different usage requirements, including high-temperature powder, medium-temperature powder, etc.
The resistance wire is the heating element, typically made of two materials: Ni-Cr wire and Fe-Cr-Al.
Lead terminal materials generally include two types: stainless steel and free-cutting iron.
Sealing materials include: epoxy, silicone, glass, etc.
Product Introduction:
Working voltage tolerance: not exceeding 1.1 times the rated value; the shell must be effectively grounded.
Working environment: relative humidity not exceeding 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases.
In the outline drawing, "B" must be fully immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning; the heated oil should be non-corrosive. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage for use, then increase to the rated voltage after melting.
To prevent heat concentration and reduce component life, keep the outlet end dry and clean to avoid surface flashover or short circuit. Components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1MΩ due to long-term storage, dry in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or apply low voltage to the component for several hours) to restore insulation resistance.
