BGY8 Explosion-Proof Electric Heater
High-temperature resistance wires are evenly distributed inside the stainless steel heating tube, which is made of high-temperature resistant seamless stainless steel. The gaps are densely filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder that has excellent thermal conductivity and insulation properties. This structure not only provides high thermal efficiency but also ensures uniform heating. When current passes through the high-temperature resistance wires, the heat generated by the heating tube is dispersed through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder to the metal tube surface, and then transferred to the heated object or air, achieving the purpose of heating.
BGY4/BGY2 Stainless Steel Explosion-Proof Electric Heater is composed of heating elements, a heater shell, a bimetallic thermometer, an exhaust valve, and a volume-expansion temperature control switch. The MI cable used in this equipment is different from ordinary tubular heaters; its shape is linear. The temperature difference between the heating cable's core wire and the metal sheath is very small, resulting in good thermal conductivity, reliable operation, and long service life. After the heating cable is formed into a coil, it has a large heat exchange area, low surface heat load, uniform heating, and high thermal efficiency. The heating element sheath is made of stainless steel and nickel-plated, providing good corrosion resistance. This series of heaters uses thermal oil as the heat transfer medium, adopts electric heating to raise the temperature, and is an efficient, energy-saving heating equipment that uses a high-temperature oil pump for forced liquid-phase circulation. It is widely used in various fields.

Maintenance Measures:
a. Regularly clean the heater according to the actual working mode and the contamination level of the fluid. Use an appropriate cleaning solution to wash away muddy sediments, while solid sediments inside or in recesses of the components require disassembly of the heating element assembly for removal. To avoid damage to the heating elements or heater recesses, use a suitable solvent for cleaning.
b. Only the conduit side of the heating element group can be cleaned with liquid cleaner or solvent.
c. After cleaning the heater, reassemble the heater in the reverse order of the above steps, replace the new flange gasket, and test the heating elements.
