SRY2-3 Electric Heater
Darui Electric recommends
SRY2, SRY3 tubular electric heaters are used for heating oil in open or closed oil tanks. SRY4 tubular electric heating elements are used for heating flowing or circulating oil. Therefore, this model has a higher surface load and is only suitable for use in oil with good heat transfer effect.
2. SRY2-3 Tubular Electric Heater Specifications and Technical Parameters1. Specifications and Dimensions: See Table 1 and Figure 1-22. Working voltage tolerance: not greater than 1.1 times its rated value. The shell must be effectively grounded.3. Working environment: relative humidity not greater than 95%, non-explosive.4. Metal tube material: 10# steel.
5. Maximum working temperature: 100°C.
6. SRY2 type and SRY4 type working pressure less than 0.6MPa.
7. Oil tank opening: ≥φ65.
3. Usage, Maintenance, and Precautions:
1. The dimension "B" in the outline drawing must be fully immersed in oil to avoid burning the component. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.
2. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage, and then increase to rated voltage after melting. This prevents heat concentration and reduces component lifespan.
3. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be removed before reuse to avoid reduced efficiency or even burning out the component.
4. Components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, dry in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or apply low voltage to the component for several hours) to restore insulation resistance.
