An AVIC official said that the development of the domestically produced large transport aircraft is progressing smoothly, and related test flights are proceeding as planned. China is about to truly have its own large transport aircraft.
AVIC organized advantageous resources from all walks of life across the country, successfully achieving the first flight in about half the time of similar foreign aircraft. The successful development of the large transport aircraft has achieved a breakthrough from "zero" in the independent development of large transport aircraft, achieved a cluster breakthrough in key technologies for large transport aircraft, built a new path for the development and management of large complex aviation equipment, and marked a major breakthrough in the large aircraft project.
