Constant Power Heat Tracing Cable, also known as Parallel Heat Tracing Cable
1. Working Principle of Electric Heat Tracing Cable:
The power bus consists of two parallel insulated copper wires. Heating wires are wound around the insulation layer and connected to the bus at regular intervals (i.e., "heating section length"), forming a continuous parallel resistor. When the bus is energized, each parallel resistor generates heat, thus forming a continuous heating tape.

3. Explosion-proof Product Description:
This single-phase constant power heat tracing cable is designed and manufactured according to GB3836.1-83 and GB3836-83, i.e., "General Requirements" and "Increased Safety Electrical Apparatus e Requirements" for explosion-proof electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres. The explosion-proof grade is "eдT3". The product is non-flammable and passes the tests required for enclosed electric heaters. When used with increased safety electrical accessories, it is suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas mixture T group locations in factories where it is not directly subjected to external forces. This product has passed the explosion-proof inspection by the national statutory explosion-proof authority, with explosion-proof certificate number: 289202
RDP2-J4 Type High Temperature Constant Power Heat Tracing Cable
The RDP2-J4 type high temperature constant power heat tracing cable has the same working principle and product structure as the RDP2-J3 type constant power heat tracing cable. The difference is that its insulation material uses high-temperature resistant waterproof glass fiber and PFA fluoroplastic, which is more heat-resistant than F46. Therefore, it can be used for thermal insulation in places with temperatures up to 260℃, maintaining a certain medium turbidity. It is especially suitable for tracing asphalt and heavy viscous oil pipelines, with fluid maintenance temperature up to 180℃-250℃. This product can be used in non-explosion-proof locations and Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas T3 group locations in factories.
1. Model Meaning: 40W per meter, reinforced single-phase high temperature heat tracing cable
2. Product Specifications and Main Technical Indicators: Maximum temperature resistance of heat tracing cable: 260℃
RDP3-J3 Type Three-Phase Constant Power Heat Tracing Cable
The principle of three-phase constant power heat tracing cable is basically the same as that of single-phase constant power heat tracing cable. The difference is that the single-phase cable uses single-phase power supply, while the three-phase cable uses three-phase delta power supply. In addition to the characteristics of single-phase heat tracing cable, the three-phase cable is especially suitable for tracing and insulation of long-distance, large-diameter pipelines.
1. Working Principle:
Three parallel insulated copper stranded wires serve as the power bus. Heating wires are wound around the inner insulation layer and connected to the power bus at regular intervals (i.e., "heating section length") in sequence: AB-BC-CA-AB... repeatedly, forming a continuous parallel resistor between each three phases. When the bus is energized with three-phase power, each parallel resistor generates heat simultaneously, thus forming a continuous three-phase heating tape.

Supply Length: Maximum: 500M Minimum: 50M
Dielectric Strength: -2500V 50HZ/min

DXW/PZ/J Type Self-Regulating Heat Tracing Cable
Self-Regulating Heat Tracing Cable
Model Meaning:
Example: DXW-PZ/J indicates: insulation material is PTC composite, rated working voltage is 220V, output power per meter at 20℃ is 20W self-regulating heat tracing cable.
Working Principle: Two copper stranded wires serve as the power bus. A layer of self-regulating heating core material with positive temperature coefficient characteristics is extruded around the bus. When the power is turned on, the current flows laterally through the core material, forming a continuous parallel heating body. The heating core material of this heat tracing cable uses temperature-memory conductive molecules processed by special techniques. When current passes through the network of conductive molecules, heat is generated. In the cold state, current flows easily, generating a large amount of heat. As the temperature rises, the matrix expands, the conductive molecules reduce the network density, cutting off most paths, the current decreases, and the heat output decreases accordingly, thus achieving automatic temperature control and making the heating basically reach thermal balance. When the temperature drops, the temperature-memory conductive molecules contract again, and the previously cut-off circuits are restored, the current increases again, and the heat output increases. This characteristic is called "temperature self-limiting characteristic", hence the name "self-regulating heat tracing cable".

The DXW type self-regulating heat tracing cable has equal power per unit length, and its power does not increase with total power. It can be cut arbitrarily on site. The "self-regulating performance" exists throughout the entire length of the heat tracing cable, thus effectively ensuring the thermal stability of the pipeline. At the same time, even if the self-regulating heat tracing cables cross each other, they will not overheat and burn out. It can be used for pipeline heat tracing and insulation at temperatures below 30℃. The starting current performance of self-regulating heat tracing cable is similar to that of PTC materials: a large starting current is generated at the moment of power-on, which gradually decreases over time, generally dropping to the rated value after a few seconds. Since heat tracing cables are usually started directly, the maximum use length of DXW-PZ/J type self-regulating heat tracing cable is 100-200m. The installation of the heat tracing cable should be matched with control electrical equipment, which generally includes overload, short circuit, grounding, leakage protection, and temperature protection. Self-regulating heat tracing cables can be used to solve the anti-freezing and insulation of pipelines, valves, and pump bodies with medium temperatures below 30℃, and are especially suitable for maintaining the process temperature of instrument pipelines.
