Duct Type Gas Heater

This entry lacks an overview diagram. Please supplement relevant content to make the entry more complete and quickly upgrade. Come on!
Duct type heaters are mainly used for heating air in ducts. Specifications are divided into three types: low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature. A common structural feature is the use of steel plates to support the electric heating tubes to reduce vibration. The junction box is equipped with an over-temperature control device. In addition to over-temperature protection, a linkage device is installed between the fan and the heater to ensure that the electric heater starts only after the fan starts. A differential pressure device is installed before and after the heater to prevent fan failure. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater should generally not exceed 0.3 Kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed this pressure, please choose a circulating electric heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C.

Application Fields

Air Electric Heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 650°C. It has been widely used in drying tunnels, drying rooms, aging rooms, high-temperature rooms, etc. It is especially suitable for automatic temperature control and large flow high-temperature heaters. Air electric heaters have a wide range of applications: they can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable).

Technical Features

1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, with the shell temperature only around 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more. 3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with stable and quick adjustment. There is no lead or lag in the controlled air temperature, preventing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control. 4. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any other heating element under high-pressure air flow, which is particularly advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating over long periods. 5. Durable: with strict adherence to operating procedures, the service life can reach more than ten years. 6. Clean air, environmentally friendly. 7. According to the actual needs of users, we can provide design solutions and customize various types of air electric heaters.
IV. Specifications and Models
Single unit power from 2KW to 500KW series.
Usage Notice:
In terms of control, a linkage device must be installed between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts only after the fan has started. After the heater stops, the fan must continue to run for at least 3 minutes to prevent the heater from overheating and being damaged. For single-circuit wiring, it must comply with NEC standards, and the current per branch circuit must not exceed 48A. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally does not exceed 0.3 kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed this pressure, please choose a circulating heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C.
