Three-Dimensional Air Electric Heater
The air electric heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 850°C. It has been widely applied in many scientific research and production laboratories such as aerospace, weaponry industry, chemical industry, and higher education institutions. It is particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and large-flow high-temperature combined systems and accessory tests. The air electric heater has a wide range of applications: it can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe, and reliable, with rapid heating of the heated space (controllable).

III. Technical Features
1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 850°C, with the shell temperature only around 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more.
3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with stable and quick adjustment. There is no leading or lagging phenomenon of the controlled air temperature causing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
4. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, under the impact of high-pressure air flow, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any other heating element, which is particularly advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating for long periods.
5. Durable and long-lasting, with a service life of up to ten years when used in accordance with operating procedures.
6. Clean air and small size.
7. Multiple types of air electric heaters can be designed according to user needs.
IV. Specifications and Models
Single unit power ranges from 2KW to 10000KW series.

How to Save Energy

In recent years, with the need for desulfurization projects in large power plant units, the power of air electric heaters has increased, some reaching over 400KW. High energy consumption and high operating costs require consideration from the following aspects to minimize energy use.
(1) Reasonably design air volume and temperature rise. The power of the air electric heater is calculated based on air volume and temperature rise. Under the premise that air volume and temperature rise meet the requirements, excessive air volume and temperature rise should not be used, as they directly lead to higher heater power and increased energy consumption. Excessive air volume and temperature rise are unnecessary. Comprehensive consideration and reasonable design are needed to determine appropriate parameters.
(2) Add insulation layer to the surface of the air electric heater. Most power plants (owners) only insulate the pipeline at the outlet of the electric heater when using the air electric heater, without any insulation treatment on the heater's own surface. Comparative data shows that adding an insulation layer on the surface of the electric heater can reduce energy consumption by 5% to 10%. Over long-term operation, the energy savings are significant. Power plants (owners) should add insulation to the air electric heater while insulating the pipeline.
(3) Reduce the pressure loss of the air electric heater itself. The air to be heated generates pressure loss when flowing through the air electric heater. The greater the pressure loss, the higher the energy consumption of the fan. Improvements and innovations should be made to the structure of the air electric heater itself to minimize pressure loss.
