Main Uses of Cast Aluminum Electric Heaters
Cast aluminum electric heaters are electric heaters that use tubular electric heating elements as the heating body and high-quality cast materials as the shell, formed by die casting. Their operating temperature is generally between 150 and 450 degrees Celsius, and they can be widely used in plastic machinery, mold heads, cable machinery, chemical, rubber, petroleum and other equipment. Cast aluminum electric heaters have the advantages of long life, good thermal insulation performance, strong mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and magnetic resistance. The explosion-proof mark of explosion-proof heaters is exdⅱbt4, exdⅱbt6, exdeⅱct6, etc. They are widely used in plastic machinery, molds, cable machinery, alloy die-casting machines, pipelines, chemical, rubber, petroleum and other equipment.

Technical Characteristics of Cast Aluminum Electric Heaters:
Metal casting heaters use tubular electric heating elements as the heating body, which are bent into shape, then placed in a mold and centrifugally cast with high-quality metal alloy materials as the shell to form various shapes, including round, flat, right-angle, air-cooled, water-cooled, and other special shapes. After precision machining, they can closely fit the heated object.
The surface load of cast aluminum electric heaters can reach 2.5-4.5w/cm2, with a maximum operating temperature between 300-450℃;
The surface load of cast copper heaters can reach 3.5-5.0w/cm2, with a maximum operating temperature between 500-600℃;
The surface load of cast iron heaters can reach 4.5-6.0w/cm2, with a maximum operating temperature between 550-700℃.
Metal casting heaters are a type of heater with high efficiency and uniform heat distribution. The excellent thermal conductivity of the metal alloy ensures uniform temperature on the heating surface, eliminating hot spots and cold spots on the equipment. They have the advantages of long life, good thermal insulation performance, strong mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and magnetic resistance. Adding insulation devices to the external heat dissipation surface and sintering infrared rays on the internal heat dissipation surface can save 35% of electricity.

Cast Aluminum Electric Heaters Usage Precautions:
1. The working voltage must not exceed 10% of the rated value; the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 95%, and there should be no explosive or corrosive gases.
2. The wiring part should be placed outside the heating layer and insulation layer, and the shell should be effectively grounded; avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; the lead wires should be able to withstand the temperature of the wiring part and the heating load for a long time, and avoid excessive force when tightening the wiring screws.
3. Metal casting heaters should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance is lower than 1mΩ due to long-term storage, it can be restored by baking in an oven at about 200 degrees Celsius for 5-6 hours, or by reducing the voltage and energizing for heating until the insulation resistance is restored.
4. Metal casting heaters should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be closely attached to the heated object. Dry burning is strictly prohibited. If dust or contaminants are found on the surface, they should be cleaned promptly before reuse to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening the service life.
5. The magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of the electric heating tube should be protected from contaminants and moisture at the use site to prevent leakage accidents.
