Duct Heater
IV. Specifications and Models
Single unit power from 2KW to 500KW series.
Usage Notice:
In terms of control, a linkage device must be added between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts after the fan starts. After the heater stops, the fan must continue to run for more than 3 minutes to prevent the heater from overheating and being damaged. For single circuit wiring, it must comply with NEC standards, and the current of each branch must not exceed 48A. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally does not exceed 0.3kg/cm2. If it exceeds the above pressure specifications, please use a circulation heater. The maximum temperature for low-temperature gas heating does not exceed 160°C; for medium temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high temperature, it does not exceed 500°C.

Installation Form

Butt installation,
Plug-in installation,
Split installation,
Inlet installation, etc.

Installation Method

Users can choose various suitable installation methods according to actual conditions.
Due to its particularity,
the outer shell of the duct heater is generally made of stainless steel or galvanized sheet,
while the heating part is mostly made of stainless steel. When selecting, if carbon steel material is needed, special instructions are required.

Other Notes

The service life of duct heaters has always been a concern. The service life of imported heaters can be up to 10 years, while domestic heaters vary depending on temperature. Generally, low-temperature heaters have the longest service life, while high-temperature heaters require frequent inspection.
Many domestic manufacturers can meet national standards for low-temperature heaters, but for high-temperature, long-life duct heaters, due to constraints such as process, materials, and testing standards, there are not many manufacturers that can produce them. Well-known domestic first-tier brands such as Shanghai Shanglong and Shanghai Dire can generally ensure long continuous service life (3000-10000 hours, 4-12 months). Many second-tier brands generally guarantee half a year to one year, but in actual continuous use, problems may arise due to various reasons.
