RY6-3/380V/4KW Sheathed Electric Heater Special Features

 Application:

SRY6-3/380V/4KW sheathed electric heater is used for heating hydraulic and lubricating oil in hydraulic and lubrication devices, and can also be used for heating non-corrosive gases or liquids.

SRY6-3/380V/4KW sheathed electric heater Features:

1. This SRY6-3/380V/4KW sheathed electric heater consists of a heating core and a protective sheath. The heating core uses tubular electric heating elements as the heat source, and the protective sheath is made of thin stainless steel, which has a large heat dissipation area and fast heat transfer. The terminal part is divided into ordinary type (using iron-made drawn cup-shaped casing) and special type (using bolted explosion-proof sealed device). The special type meets the requirements of explosion-proof mark dIICT4 and protection level IP65 series standards.

2. The electric heater is connected to the oil tank container body by flange, and the sheath isolates the heating core from the heated oil. When repairing the electric heater, there is no need to drain the oil in the tank; only the heating core needs to be pulled out and replaced with a new one, making maintenance convenient.

3. During design, the contact area between the sheath and the heated oil should be considered to prevent local carbonization of the oil due to excessive heating temperature. This model of heater is only suitable for heat transfer oil or oils with good heat transfer effect, used for heating within the medium.

Working Principle
Fluid explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the inlet through the pipeline under pressure, flows along the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, following the path designed based on fluid thermodynamics principles, and carries away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating element during operation, raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing coking, deterioration, or carbonization of the heated material due to overheating, and in severe cases, preventing damage to the heating element, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
Application Scope
Typical applications of fluid explosion-proof electric heaters mainly include:
1. Heating and temperature raising of chemical materials in the chemical industry, drying of some powders under certain pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying.
2. Heating of hydrocarbons, including crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, heat transfer oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc.
3. Heating of process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air) gas, water gas, etc., which require temperature raising.
4. Due to the advanced explosion-proof structure, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, and other places requiring explosion protection.
Functional Features
1. Small size, high power: The heater mainly uses clustered tubular electric heating elements.
2. Fast thermal response, high temperature control accuracy, high comprehensive thermal efficiency.
3. High heating temperature: The maximum working temperature of the heater can reach 850℃.
4. Uniform outlet temperature of the medium, high temperature control accuracy.

7. Fully automatic control: According to requirements, through the heater circuit design, automatic control of outlet temperature, flow, pressure and other parameters can be easily achieved, and it can be networked with computers.
8. Significant energy-saving effect: Almost 100% of the electrical energy generated is transferred to the heating medium.
Converting electrical energy into thermal energy to heat objects is a form of electrical energy utilization. Compared with general fuel heating, electric heating can achieve higher temperatures (e.g., arc heating can reach temperatures above 3000℃), is easy to achieve automatic temperature control and remote control (e.g., vehicle-mounted electric heating cup), and can maintain a certain temperature distribution of the heated object as needed. Electric heating can generate heat directly inside the heated object, thus having high thermal efficiency, fast heating speed, and can achieve uniform overall heating or local heating (including surface heating) according to the process requirements, and is easy to achieve vacuum heating and controlled atmosphere heating. During the electric heating process, less waste gas, residue, and smoke are produced, keeping the heated object clean and not polluting the environment. Therefore, electric heating is widely used in production, scientific research, and testing fields. Especially in the manufacturing of single crystals and transistors, mechanical parts and surface quenching, smelting of ferroalloys, and manufacturing of artificial graphite, electric heating methods are adopted.
According to different electrical energy conversion methods, electric heating is usually divided into resistance heating, induction heating, arc heating, electron beam heating, infrared heating, and dielectric heating.
