SRQ Air Heater Use, Maintenance and Precautions
Use, Maintenance and Precautions:
1. Components are generally arranged in a staggered manner in the duct, with a relative distance of more than 40 mm between two components, so that the flowing air can be fully heated. There should be a thermal insulation layer around the duct to reduce heat loss. Generally, the air velocity in the duct is suitable at 8-12 m/s.
2. The terminal posts of the components should be installed outside the insulation layer. The effective heating part must not be covered with insulation layer to avoid burning the components.
3. Components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, it can be restored by drying in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or by applying low voltage to the components for several hours).![]()
