Working Principle of Explosion-Proof Heater

Working Principle

It is a device that consumes electrical energy and converts it into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the input port through the pipeline under pressure, flows along the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, which is designed according to the principles of fluid thermodynamics, and takes away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating element during operation, thereby raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, so that the temperature of the medium at the outlet is uniform. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing the heated material from overheating and causing coking, deterioration, or carbonization, and in severe cases, burning out the heating element, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.

Explosion-Proof Principle

Explosion-proof heaters are generally used in hazardous locations where explosions may occur. Due to the presence of various flammable and explosive oils, gases, dust, etc., in the surrounding environment, contact with electric sparks can cause an explosion. Therefore, in such occasions, explosion-proof heaters are required for heating. The main explosion-proof measure of the explosion-proof heater is that there is an explosion-proof device in the junction box of the heater, which eliminates the risk of ignition by electric sparks. For different heating occasions, the explosion-proof level requirements of the heater are also different, depending on the specific situation.
