Electric Heat Tracing Cable Price
Service Life Edit
Under proper maintenance, the service life of the electric heat tracing system is 8 years or longer.

6 Technical Indicators Edit
1. Cable structure: inner layer conductive thermoplastic, outer layer double-layer flame-retardant polyolefin with shielding layer

2. Temperature range:

Maximum exposure temperature 85°C, maximum surface temperature 85°C

Maximum maintenance temperature 65°C, minimum operating temperature -60°C

3. Installation temperature: minimum: -5°C

4. Thermal stability: after 300 cycles between 10°C and 99°C, the cable heating output remains above 90%.

5. Bending radius: 25.4mm at room temperature 20°C, 35.0mm at low temperature -30°C

Application Scope Edit
Electric heat tracing products can be widely used for heat tracing, insulation, anti-freezing and anti-condensation of pipelines, pumps, valves, tanks and vessel volumes in industries such as petroleum, chemical, electric power, medicine, machinery, food, and shipping. It is the most advanced and effective method for maintaining process temperature in liquid pipelines and storage tanks. Electric heat tracing is not only suitable for various steam tracing applications but also solves problems that steam tracing cannot, such as: heat tracing of long-distance pipelines, heat tracing of irregularly shaped equipment (e.g., pumps); heat tracing of pipelines and equipment without steam heat source or in remote areas; heat tracing of plastic and non-metallic pipelines, etc.

Main application examples are as follows:

(1) Anti-condensation, dewaxing and heat tracing insulation of oil pipelines.

(2) Heat tracing and anti-condensation of oil wellhead Christmas trees to increase production.

(3) Heat tracing insulation of chemical pipelines, tanks, and instrument lines.

(4) Heat tracing of oil pipelines and anti-freezing of water pipes on offshore oil platforms.

(5) Heat tracing insulation of pipelines and containers on oil tankers and ships.

(6) Heat tracing insulation of heavy oil pipelines and anti-freezing of water pipes in power plants.

(7) Heating and heat tracing insulation of pipelines for intermittent medium transportation.

(8) Heat tracing insulation of pipelines requiring strict control of medium temperature.

Temperature-controlled heat tracing cable is a flat ribbon cable composed of conductive polymer composite (plastic), two parallel metal wires, and insulating sheath. Its characteristic is that the conductive polymer composite has a positive temperature coefficient "PTC" characteristic, and they are connected in parallel, automatically adjusting with the temperature change of the heated system.

Easy installation, simple maintenance, high automation level, low operation and maintenance costs.
