Application Scope Edit
Electric heat tracing products can be widely used for heat tracing, insulation, freeze protection, and condensation prevention of pipelines, pump bodies, valves, tanks, and vessel volumes in industries such as petroleum, chemical, electric power, pharmaceutical, machinery, food, and marine. It is the most advanced and effective method for maintaining process temperature in liquid pipelines and storage tanks. Electric heat tracing is not only suitable for various steam tracing applications but also solves problems that steam tracing cannot address, such as heat tracing of long-distance pipelines, irregularly shaped equipment (e.g., pumps), pipelines and equipment without steam heat sources or in remote areas, and plastic or non-metallic pipelines.

Main application examples include:

(1) Anti-condensation, wax removal, and heat tracing insulation of petroleum pipelines.

(2) Heat tracing and anti-condensation of oil well Christmas trees to increase production.

(3) Heat tracing insulation of chemical pipelines, tanks, and instrument lines.

(4) Heat tracing of oil pipelines and freeze protection of water pipes on offshore oil platforms.

(5) Heat tracing insulation of pipelines and containers on oil tankers and ships.

(6) Heat tracing insulation of heavy oil pipelines and freeze protection of water pipes in power plants.

(7) Heating and heat tracing insulation of pipelines for intermittent medium transport.

(8) Heat tracing insulation of pipelines requiring strict temperature control of the medium.

Temperature-controlled heat tracing cable is a flat ribbon cable composed of conductive polymer composite (plastic), two parallel metal wires, and an insulating sheath. Its characteristic is that the conductive polymer composite has a positive temperature coefficient "PTC" property and is connected in parallel, automatically adjusting with the temperature change of the heated system.

Easy installation, simple maintenance, high automation level, low operation and maintenance costs.
