It is an internationally popular high-quality long-life electric heating equipment. Used for heating, heat preservation, and temperature increase of flowing liquid and gaseous media. When the heating medium passes through the heating chamber of the electric heater under pressure, the fluid thermodynamics principle is used to uniformly take away the huge heat generated by the electric heating elements during operation, so that the temperature of the heated medium reaches the user's process requirements.
2 Working Principle
The explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the input port through the pipeline under pressure, flows along the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, following the path designed by fluid thermodynamics principles, and takes away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating elements during operation, thereby increasing the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, so that the temperature of the medium at the outlet is uniform. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing the heated material from overheating and causing coking, deterioration, carbonization, or even burning out the heating element in severe cases, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
Explosion-proof Principle
Explosion-proof heaters are generally used in hazardous situations where explosions may occur. Due to the presence of flammable and explosive oils, gases, dust, etc. in the surrounding environment, contact with electric sparks can cause explosions. Therefore, explosion-proof heaters are required for heating in such situations. The main explosion-proof measure of the explosion-proof heater is an explosion-proof device installed in the junction box of the heater, eliminating the risk of electric spark ignition. For different heating situations, the explosion-proof level requirements of the heater vary, depending on the specific situation.
Application Range
Typical application scenarios of explosion-proof electric heaters mainly include:
1. Heating of chemical materials in the chemical industry, drying of some powders under certain pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying.
2. Heating of hydrocarbons, including crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc.
3. Heating of process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air), water gas, etc., which require temperature increase.
4. Due to the advanced explosion-proof structure, the equipment can be widely used in chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, and other places requiring explosion-proof measures. Application Examples
