Classification of Electric Heating Rings
Stainless Steel Ceramic Electric Heating Ring
High-temperature resistant ceramic electric heating rings are not made by the ordinary mica winding method, but by threading ceramic strips with wires. Therefore, the power of this product is 0.5~1.5 times higher than ordinary ones. The heating element is made of imported round wire ceramic wound into a spring shape and threaded into ceramic strips. The outer shell is made of Japanese stainless steel, and high-temperature insulation cotton (aluminum silicate fiber board) is used in the middle to prevent heat leakage. The ceramic strips are high-frequency ceramics with characteristics such as fast heat transfer, hardness, resistance to breakage, high temperature resistance, and resistance to aging. Brief performance of ceramic heating rings: It is mainly suitable for extrusion, casting, and down-stroke mechanical operations with temperatures up to 450 degrees, maximum surface load 6.5W/cm. Features include long life, high temperature resistance, 30% energy consumption reduction, high insulation, and it is the most suitable electric heating product for extruders, injection molding machines, and film blowing machines. Ceramic heating rings have advantages such as flexible installation, fast heat transfer, good insulation, and no restrictions on model or size. They have high working temperature, fast heating, high thermal efficiency, no pollution, and uniform and precise heating. Specific advantages are as follows: 1. Flexibility: when heating containers or pipes, they can be bent into arcs or circles to wrap around the surface for heating. When heating large workpieces, local parts can be wrapped, and large areas can be covered flat. They can also adapt to various geometric shapes of workpieces. 2. High working temperature, fast heating, high thermal efficiency, no pollution, uniform and precise heating, and can achieve automatic control. 3. High mechanical strength, good hot insulation performance, large contact area with the heated object, and long service life. 4. Easy installation and maintenance, low usage cost. Even if the internal heating material is damaged, the external ceramic components can still be reused.
Stainless Steel Mica Electric Heating Ring
Mica heating rings use high-quality nickel-chromium alloy heating wire as the heating element, natural mica as the insulation layer, and high-quality stainless steel as the heat conduction layer. They can be machined into rings, plates, and various special-shaped products according to customer requirements. The normal surface load of mica heating rings is 2.5-3 watts per square centimeter. Customers should use an automatic temperature control system according to the required power range to maintain normal power and protect the service life of the heating ring. Performance advantages of stainless steel mica electric heating rings: Because this product uses stainless steel and mica as raw materials, it is not limited by size in production. It can be used for small-scale heating of nozzles or for heating the barrel of plastic machines. It has the characteristics of reasonable structure, beautiful appearance, stable performance, uniform heating, fast heat dissipation, long service life, good insulation performance, and high voltage resistance. Application range of stainless steel mica heating rings: widely used in injection molding machines, extruders, and other plastic molding machinery.
Cast Aluminum Electric Heating Ring
Cast aluminum heating rings can be divided into die-casting and casting types. In cases with many specifications and sizes, the casting process is generally used. During casting, high-purity aluminum blocks are used, melted from solid to liquid in a high-temperature furnace, then injected into a mold with heating tubes installed. After cooling and forming, they are precision-machined. The normal thickness of cast aluminum heating rings is 20mm and 25mm. The 25mm wall thickness heating ring has a concave-convex air groove structure design on the inner wall to prevent the internal heating tube from overheating. For example, when the temperature is high, air cooling or water cooling can be used on the inner wall to quickly reach the standard operating temperature. At the same time, the heating ring is basically made into two semicircular halves, which are fixed and installed with bolts. The temperature measurement hole is mainly used in situations where temperature signals need to be collected. Usually, a hole is opened on the curved surface of the cast aluminum heating ring according to the design size for installing a thermocouple.
