The components of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge are made of 304, 316L, 321, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 0Cr18Ni9, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, 304 or 0Cr18Ni9 lined with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PVC, PP and other materials, as well as imported high-quality electronic components. The electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge has high reliability, good stability, durability, and strong corrosion resistance. The electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge has the advantages of simple structure, convenient use, high thermal efficiency, safety and reliability, no environmental pollution, long service life, and low maintenance workload. Electric heat tracing technology has been widely adopted. The electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge is an advanced heat tracing system. Generally, electric heat tracing cables are bundled on the surface of the pipeline for heat tracing and insulation, ensuring that the liquid medium works at a certain temperature, so that the liquid level measurement of easily solidified and high-viscosity liquid media can be carried out normally. It is gradually replacing traditional insulation methods such as steam and hot water heat tracing.
In fact, whether the electric heat tracing cable can operate normally depends not only on the product quality and the scientific rationality of the selection design, but also on the correct installation method of the product. Below, we will focus on the installation process of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge.
The electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge can be divided into single heating cable and multiple heating cables. The installation methods of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge are generally divided into spiral winding method and parallel laying method. The float chamber of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge is bundled with magnetic flip plates and display panel components. The magnetic flip plates flip through the magnetic coupling effect of the magnetic float inside the float chamber. In order to prevent the display panel from being far away from the float chamber and affecting the flipping of the magnetic flip plates, the heat tracing and insulation of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge generally use self-regulating electric heat tracing cables, and adopt parallel laying and multiple heating cables for construction, avoiding the display panel for installation without affecting the heat tracing effect.
During construction, the heating cable is routed from one end of the float chamber to the tail end, then back to the starting point for parallel laying, and the spacing between each heating cable is not less than 2 times the bandwidth. During installation, twisting should be minimized, and the bending radius should not be less than 5 times the thickness of the heating cable. Generally, the heating cable is fixed on the main pipe with glass fiber pressure-sensitive tape or aluminum foil tape every about 50 cm, so that the electric heat tracing cable is close to the float chamber to improve heat conduction efficiency. It is strictly forbidden to use iron wire or plastic wire for binding. One end of the heating cable is connected to the power junction box, and the tail end must be tightly sealed with a matching sealing head. It is strictly forbidden to twist the two cables at the tail end. The power cable should be a three-core cable, with one core used as grounding and connected to the grounding terminal together with the shielding layer of the heating cable. The internal and external grounding bolts must be firm and reliable. After the installation of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge, an insulation layer should be added on the outer surface, and the outer surface of the insulation layer should be tightly wrapped with aluminum foil tape to reduce heat loss and improve the heat tracing effect of the electric heat tracing magnetic float level gauge.
