Operation instructions, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of explosion-proof electric heater.  1.1.2 This procedure applies to explosion-proof electric heaters. 2   Operation Instructions of Explosion-Proof Electric Heater  2.1  Operation Instructions of 400KW Nitrogen Heater (Tag: HT-12039) 2.1.1 System Description of Explosion-Proof Electric Heater  1) The explosion-proof electric heater is resistive heating, and its appearance is flange type explosion-proof electric heater.  2) The explosion-proof electric heater consists of two heaters (240kW and 160kW) installed in series vertically and horizontally, with leg mounting. The 240kW explosion-proof electric heater is divided into 3 groups, each with a power of 80kW, and the 160kW electric heater is divided into 3 groups, each with a power of 53.3kW, using delta connection. 3) By supplying power to the explosion-proof electric heater, it generates heat, thereby heating the flowing medium in the container and making the medium reach the set temperature at the outlet.  4) The explosion-proof electric heater is controlled by temperature controller ST1. After ST1 collects the outlet temperature signal, it outputs a 4-20mA power regulation signal to the SCR trigger module through PID control, thereby controlling the output power of the heater, achieving stepless power regulation from 0 to 400kW.  5) The temperature alarm instrument ST2 detects 6 internal temperatures of the heater. When dry heating occurs due to low flow or no flow, if any internal point temperature exceeds the over-temperature set value of the instrument, the control circuit alarms and self-locks, accompanied by an alarm indicator light. After that, the heater can only be restarted after manual reset.  6) The system is equipped with a pressure alarm interlock system. The operation of the control cabinet is interlocked with the user's system pressure. The interlock signal is provided by DCS. The heater is allowed to start only when the medium pressure is normal.  7) During the operation of the heater, when the SCR causes the internal over-temperature of the thyristor, the operation of the distribution panel  1) Check to ensure all circuits are reliably connected.  2) Close the main circuit breaker QF11 and the disconnector HS1, the system is powered and in a operable state. 3) Ensure all interlock points meet requirements, and the panel emergency stop button is in normal state.  4) When the heater alarms for over-temperature, the control circuit alarms and self-locks, accompanied by an alarm indicator light. After that, the heater can only be restarted after manual reset.  5) DCS interlocked pressure alarm: when an alarm occurs (contact opens), the heater shuts down; when it returns to normal, the heater automatically starts.  6) The start and stop of the heater can be operated via DCS or the on-site explosion-proof operation column. 7) When the heater is not in use, please disconnect the main circuit breaker.  8) The system is mainly controlled by temperature controller ST1. Press SA1 on the heater panel, the heater starts, the contactor engages, and ST1 outputs a 4-20mA power signal to regulate the heater power. To stop the heater, press SB1. For user convenience, an emergency stop button SC1 is provided on the control cabinet panel. When this button is in the pulled-out position, the heater cannot start. 2.2 Operation Instructions of 400KW Thermal Oil Heater (HT-12060, HT-51521/52521) 2.2.1 System Description of Explosion-Proof Electric Heater  1) The explosion-proof electric heater is resistive heating, and its appearance is flange type explosion-proof electric heater.  2) The explosion-proof electric heater is installed horizontally with leg mounting. The 400kW explosion-proof electric heater is divided into 8 groups, each with a power of 50kW, using delta connection. 5) The temperature alarm instrument ST2 detects 2 internal temperatures of the heater. When dry heating occurs due to low flow or no flow, if any internal point temperature exceeds the instrument, or when overcurrent or phase loss faults occur, the heater will be cut off and an alarm signal will be sent to DCS.  8) The system is equipped with multiple interlocks and can be interlocked with other equipment. If not used, please short-circuit
