SRY2 SRY4 SRY2-3 Tubular Electric Heater
The working voltage shall not exceed 1.1 times its rated voltage, and the casing must be effectively grounded.
The dimension “B” in the figure must be fully immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning. The heated oil should be free of corrosive gases.
3. The mounting hole size for this electric heater is Φ65mm.
4. This model heater is designed according to the JB2379-78 standard for flowing oil, with a surface load of 2-3.8 W/cm².
5. When selecting, determine the heating size based on the actual dimensions of the heating medium.
Note: This heater can be used directly in combination with SRY2 and SRY4 types.
Rated voltage: Single-phase 220V, Three-phase 380V
Working medium: Mineral oil and water, etc., with good heat dissipation
Surface heating power: 1KW~4KW 1.5W/cm², 5KW~8KW 2.5W/cm²
Working pressure: 0.6Mpa
| Power | A (Overall Dimension) | B (Immersed Length in Oil) |
| 1KW | 400 | 300 |
| 2 KW | 690 | 590 |
| 3 KW | 990 | 890 |
| 4 KW | 1280 | 1180 |
| 5 KW | 990 | 890 |
| 6 KW | 1160 | 1060 |
| 8 KW | 1520 | 1420 |
Note: The mounting hole for SRY2 and SRY4 types is Ø72 mm.
2. Working voltage tolerance: not greater than 1.1 times the rated value; the casing must be effectively grounded.
3. Working environment: relative humidity not greater than 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases.
4. Metal tube material: 304 stainless steel.
5. Working temperature: SRY2 and SRY3 are 300°C, SRY4 is 100°C.
6. Working pressure for SRY2 and SRY4 types is less than 2 kg/cm².
7. The fastener length for SRY3 type is 25 mm.
Usage, Maintenance, and Precautions
1. The dimension “B” in the overall dimension diagram must be fully immersed in oil to avoid damaging the element. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.
2. The working liquid level for SRY3 type must be below the fastener and above the dimension line “B”.
3. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage during use, and then increase to the rated voltage after melting to prevent heat concentration and reduce element service life.
4. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be removed before reuse to avoid reducing efficiency or even burning out the element.
5. The element should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, dry it in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or apply low voltage to the element for several hours) to restore insulation resistance.
