Box-Type Resistance Furnace

1. Before powering on, check whether the wiring is correct and whether the wiring screws on the controller are loose.
2. Place the sample in the furnace, close the furnace door, and turn on the furnace switch.
3. Set the controller switch to the "Set" position and set the test temperature.
4. After setting, switch back to the "Measure" position. The furnace starts heating, and the green indicator light on the meter shows.
5. After the working time is up, turn off the furnace switch. Wait for cooling before removing the sample.

Precautions

1. Do not exceed the maximum temperature of the resistance furnace during use.
2. Always cut off the power when loading or unloading samples to prevent electric shock.
3. Keep the furnace door open for as short a time as possible when loading or unloading samples to extend the furnace's service life.
4. Do not pour any liquid into the furnace chamber.
5. Do not place samples with water or oil into the furnace chamber; do not use tongs with water or oil to load or unload samples.
6. Wear special gloves when loading or unloading samples to prevent burns.
7. Samples should be placed neatly in the center of the furnace chamber. Do not place them randomly.
8. Do not touch the furnace or surrounding samples casually.
9. After use, cut off the power and water supply.
10. Do not operate the resistance furnace without permission from the management personnel. Operate strictly according to the equipment's operating procedures.
11. The furnace chamber temperature must not exceed the maximum furnace temperature, and do not operate above the rated temperature for extended periods.
12. Working environment conditions: temperature 0-50°C, relative humidity <80%, no conductive dust, no flammable or explosive items, and no corrosive gases.
13. Open and close the furnace door gently to avoid damaging components.
14. When placing or removing samples in the furnace chamber, first cut off the power, and handle with care to ensure safety and avoid damaging the furnace chamber.
15. To extend product life and ensure safety, remove samples from the furnace chamber promptly after use, stop heating, and turn off the power.
16. Ambient atmospheric pressure: normal atmospheric pressure.

Applicable Temperature

Box-Type Resistance Furnace rated temperature is 1000°C-1700°C, suitable for universities and research institutes for sintering metal materials and ceramic materials, heat treatment of certain single crystals, and testing and research of high-temperature re-sintering shrinkage of refractory materials.

Maintenance

2.1 The controller should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated area free of corrosive gases. The working environment temperature is -10-50°C, and relative humidity should not exceed 85%.
2.2 To ensure measurement accuracy, calibrate the temperature meter of the XMT temperature controller annually using a DC potentiometer to avoid significant errors.
2.3 Regularly check whether the wiring connections are loose and whether the contacts of the AC contactor are in good condition. Repair any faults promptly.
