How to Correctly Choose Mold Electric Heating Tubes
How to correctly choose mold electric heating tubes? Mainly from the tube diameter, length, and tube material.1. The mold electric heating tube should be determined according to the diameter of the mold hole. For example, if the mold hole diameter is 10mm, then the tube diameter of the mold electric heating tube can be 9.8mm.
2. The length of the mold electric heating tube is determined according to the length of the opening.
3. The choice of tube material for the mold electric heating tube should be determined according to the working temperature of the mold.
Because there is a time lag in heat conduction between the mold temperature and the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube,
(1) When the mold temperature is 150°C, the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube may be around 300°C. At this time, the tube material of the mold electric heating tube should be stainless steel 304, which is resistant to 300°C.
(2) When the mold temperature is 200°C, the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube may be around 400°C. At this time, the tube material of the mold electric heating tube should be stainless steel 321, which is resistant to 500°C.
(3) When the mold temperature is 450°C, the surface temperature of the mold electric heating tube may be 600°C. At this time, the tube material of the mold electric heating tube should be stainless steel 310S, which is resistant to 700°C.
Of course, the temperature difference in heat conduction also varies depending on the number of heating tubes installed and the size of the mold. This needs to be judged based on specific dimensions.
