Explosion-proof electric heater
It consists of a heating core and a sheath. The heating core uses metal tubular electric heating elements as the heat source, and the sheath is made of cold-drawn seamless steel pipe or stainless steel pipe.
The electric heater is connected to the oil tank body by flange. The sheath isolates the heating core from the heated oil. When replacing the electric heater, there is no need to drain the oil from the tank; just pull out the heater core and replace it with a new one, making maintenance convenient.
Main technical parameters:
Rated voltage Single-phase 220V, three-phase 380V
Surface heating power ≤3w/cm2
Operating temperature ≤300℃
Working medium Mineral oil
Working pressure ≤0.8Mpa

The electric heater has a large contact area with the heated oil, low surface heat power, no carbon deposition, and the oil will not carbonize due to local high temperature. It has a long service life and is safe and reliable.
Precautions:
1. The element is allowed to work under the following conditions:
A. Relative humidity of air not greater than 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases. Except for explosion-proof heaters
B. Working voltage should not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
C. Insulation resistance ≥1MΩ Dielectric strength: 2KV/1min.
2. The electric heating tube should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be fully immersed in liquid or metal solid. No dry burning is allowed. If scale or carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they should be cleaned promptly before reuse to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening service life.
3. When heating fusible metals or solid nitrates, alkalis, asphalt, paraffin, etc., the working voltage should be reduced first, and then raised to the rated voltage after the medium melts.
4. When heating air, the elements should be arranged crosswise and evenly to ensure good heat dissipation and sufficient heating of the passing air.
5. When heating nitrates, safety measures should be considered to prevent explosion accidents.
6. The wiring part should be placed outside the insulation layer to avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; the lead wire should be able to withstand the temperature of the wiring part and the heating load for a long time, and avoid excessive force when tightening the wiring screws.
