Another method is to directly insert tubular electric heating elements into the reactor of the duct heater or distribute electric heating tubes evenly around the walls of the duct heater. This mode is called the internal heating type of the duct heater. The internal heating type of the duct heater has fast heating and high efficiency.
Another mode of the duct heater is the far-infrared electric heating device. That is, the electric heater in the internal system of the duct heater wraps the bottom of the reactor and the middle-lower part of the duct heater for heating. The far-infrared electric heating device of the duct heater has a large heating area in the internal system of the duct heater, stable and fast temperature rise, uniform heat release, convenient temperature control, segmented control of upper, middle, and lower parts, easy control of the wall temperature inside the reactor, no side effects on the materials inside the reactor, no carbonization of materials, no noise, no pollution, long service life (over 30,000 hours), and significant energy saving (over 28%).
Duct Heater is a new generation of reactor heater for the internal system of the duct heater. It uses electric heating combined with far-infrared technology to evenly distribute heat into the reactor. Compared with traditional heat transfer oil and steam heating, the duct heater saves production costs by more than 30%; its temperature control system uses silicon controlled rectifiers as the main components with a computer interface, utilizing a computer to analyze and control temperature differences, making it easier for operators. The far-infrared promotes blood circulation and is beneficial to human health. In the context of energy saving, emission reduction, and environmental protection, the development prospects of the duct heater are expanding. Many large chemical units at home and abroad are replacing heat transfer oil and steam heating with far-infrared heating.
